All items may be returned within (3) days of receving them in the mail. First time customers should order (1) jewelry set so that they are familiar with our design quality and materials before ordering muliple sets. ANY defects or problems with our products not caused by damage in shipping will of course be taken care of with either replacement or full refund. Shipping damages are covered below under insurance.
We utilize USPS First Class, Priority Mail, or Flat Rate, depending upon what is deemed required, and will include an additional charge for insurance. (Please refer to USPS website at www.usps.com for actual cost per value.) This policy is due to the fact that artisan jewelry is one-of-a-kind and cannot be replaced without being completely re-worked; in some cases, product just cannot be duplicated due to un-availability of components.
Where possible, I will combine shipping for multiple items...this means, if you order (2) jewelry sets, and the weight for both of them is under the limit set by USPS, there is no additional charge for those items within that increment. The only additional charge would be for insurance to cover the total purchase price of the items. If the customer HAS to have their purchases shipped using another method, please email me or call; I will make arrangements to find out the total cost to ship by that method and notify customer of additional charges. At all times, I try to save the customer money on shipping... you are basically charged for the actual cost of shipping and insurance.
We REQUIRE that all purchases made from us are insured, therefore, insurance will be added during checkout for the value of the purchase price. A Girls' Best Friends will not be responsible for any loss or damages made after we drop your purchases off for shipment to you. I utilize insurance through USPS and they publish their current rates, limitations and restrictions online at www.usps.com . Please be aware that USPS insurance is for you, the customer, and NOT A Girls' Best Friends Jewelry! This is an important distinction to note as any claims that need filing will be done in the customer's name. All claim payments and or payouts will be made to you, the customer, since the insurance fee is for your protection, and paid for by you. If for any reason you need to file a claim with USPS for any merchandise that you have purchased from us, you may of course re-order the jewelry design from us, but know that it may not be possible to duplicate exactly as originally designed. This is because our jewelry is one-of-a-kind and unique, and any components used in the making of your jewelry may no longer be available, such as pendants, artisan lampworked beads, etc. In such a case, every attempt will be made to duplicate your exact design, including emailing a digital photo of the re-worked design for your approval prior to your "re-purchase". Your satisfaction is of paramount importance; I will attempt to satisfy your desire for your original design - jewelry is a very personal and intimate commodity and, as such, should be treated as an heirloom or any other valuable possession.
Your privacy is just that...PRIVATE! We, at A Girls' Best Friends recognize that and honor it. So, when you leave your personal information with us for any reason, i.e., making a purchase or adding your information to our Customer List for any reason, or just contacting us by phone or email...the information you give to us, STAYS with us. It is that simple. Your personal information will NEVER be sold or shared with anyone else. We will use it only for our purposes, such as emailing information to you that you have requested or signed up for, or to purchase our beautiful product line from us! That is all.
